Correspondence with Carl Zigrosser, 1941-1968.

In the 1940's, the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts approached Zigrosser to serve on juries for the Dallas Print Society. Zigrosser was also asked to make suggestions for the Society's annual purchase fund. He responded with a thoughtful list outlining a course of future acquisitions. Letters from Jerry and Mary Bywaters arranged for Zigrosser to visit Dallas in 1943, jury and exhibition and deliver a lecture there. The correspondence for 1968 is part of Zigrosser's research on John Marin.
